modern cool but small Great location, near 2 tube stations and 2 supermarkets, HSBC bank and Starbucks 2 blocks away. Had the smallest single room in existence but at least there was a private bathroom. Nice bar and entertainment room on ground floor. Whole place was very clean. All in all no complaints except for the size of the single room.

Great for singles or a trip with friends... The rooms are quite small compared to the hotel rooms of the US. The staff weren’t as friendly as I hoped, and it seemed that most of the staff were from other countries and english was their 2nd language. They were nice to hold our luggage for us since our room wasn’t ready. The beds are comfy and the tv’s are small...but it is just what we were looking for if are spending minimal time in your hotel room and out and about in london seeing the sights. Cheers! Traveler's tip The closest tube station (underground) is the Gloucester Station. Only about 3 blocks away from the hotel. Provides service directly to Heathrow.

Great Location!! The Kensington Rooms is in a wonderful location!!! Right in between High Street Kensington and South Kensington. Within walking walking distance to both areas, and only 3 minutes from the Gloucester Road Underground station. The best thing about this hotel is the location by far!! Although the hotel was not bad, it was very small for American standards. The single person rooms were extremely tiny. And the bathrooms were joke. The hotel itself was nice, clean enough and "stylish", but I think they could have focused more on making the rooms more comfortable. However the staff were helpful. The price was right for the location, however the size was the least satisfactory, and beware that if you have a room near the street you will hear the traffic. Traveler's tip on recreational activities If you are going to stay in London for about a week, I advise you to get an Oyester card for use on the Underground. Also, if you enjoy walking, the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Natural History Museum, and Harrods are not too far away. Also in the opposite direction there is Kensington Palace and shopping districts in High Street Kensington. The location of the Kensington Rooms is truly great for traveling around Central London.

Lovely London hotel with great location! Safe, Clean, Basic, Great Location! The hotel itself is like the majority of England hotels, older, lots of stairs, multiple hallways, small/tiny bathrooms, large windows, high ceilings, clean and complete with all the basics that one needs. Please do note, that the hotel is situated on a busy road and if you are a very light sleeper (or are used to the country/quiet sub-burbs) it may be a bit noisy for you. Especially if you’re traveling during the summer months when you’re likely to sleep with the window open (no Air Cond.) This hotel has excellent location to the GLOUCESTER TUBE STOP (just exit left out of the the tube and the hotel is no more than 3 blocks/5 short minutes away). Nice breakfast (slim picking for other breakfasts spots in the area if you are an early riser (ie almost nothing decent opens until 8:30am). This hotel has excellent location to the GLOUCESTER TUBE STOP (just exit left out of the the tube and the hotel is no more than 3 blocks/5 short minutes away). This is a straight-shot for those arriving into Heathrow Airport and the Gatwick Express train (Gatwick airport) is just a few stops away connecting through Victoria so be sure to buy yourself an "OYSTER CARD/PASS" for unlimited tube rides around the city. PS The rooms do not have WiFi... Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay Also since it gets light out very early (in summer) I do reccomend bringing a sleeping mask. Also if you’re a runner/walker, this hotel has great location to Kensington Palace/Park (10 minutes). Great shopping just down the road 15 minutes (or one Tube stop up) at Harrods, Harvey Nichols, etc.
