+ We booked a double, and required a baby-cot. on arrival, it appeared that we had got an upgrade, since they considered that a double is too small once a baby cot is in. we have not met such consideration before, but are really grateful for it! - The decor might need some refreshment, thoug it is cool like this, as well.

I was not impressed, and for the life of me wondered what kind of a deal did the travel agency get to make this nightmare a reality.

When I arrived I was given the key to my room and with my family went up to the room I had been given. It was a such a shock the room size was appalling and the decor in the room was poor. Wallpaper peeling off and it is ws dingy and grubby looking. It was like a box room in a 3 bedroomed 1930's house which had not had refurb. My disapointment was also as I knew the hotel had recently had a refurb for about 15 million which they advertise on the web pages. I think this room and the room my friend stayed in had been missed off the list, maybe because they really were the broom cupboards in disguise. I must say Nivad the manager was lovely and changed my room each day to a better one, if I had stayed longer I would no doubt have ended up with the presidential suite!!

Very good location; very pleasant room with small balcony and nice view over Russell Square. Very clean, well-kept, solid. Felt very comfortable and secure there. Would stay there again.

Very good value and excellent location in Central London. I thought the charge for high-speed internet per day was steep. I've stayed at other London hotels where wireless is free in the lobby but not here! Good buffet breakfast in a lovely dining room. Room was not a bad size by London standards.
