Hotel La Place

Room would have been considerably less expensive had I booked directly with the hotel rather than this reservation service. The rooms are small for king beds, but we were upgraded to a suite for no additional charge. It's a small, family run hotel in a safe neighborhood. The staff are very friendly, professional, and accommodating. The included full English breakfast is generous.

+ Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Hotel situated in a lovely area.Room very comfortable. - my room (single) was a bit small and there was no way to open the window. Nevertheless there air conditioning system was efficient.

We have stayed in quite a few hotels in the London area and none have been as clean with such friendly staff, we have already booked to stay there next week

+ 3. climate control air conditioner is quite good - Room size, cleanliness, size and usabilty of toilet/shower, efficacy of shower, noise

+ Location - The internet PC, although free, was very slow

+ The area it was situated in - biger room, more service, better breakfast

+ 1. not far away from tube - difficult to set parameters for free wifi although the staff was eager to help

+ The girl on reception, friendly and carried my case upstairs - Dining room was in the basement and therefore no windows which made it feel a bit dark and dreary.The breakfast was good but larger portions would have been better.

+ Location - Hotel very grubby, needed a good clean!!

+ the location and the staff who was very available and helpful - I made reservation of Executive single room. In fact it was one of the smallest room I ever stayed in London with minimum of amenities, only 10 chanels in small old TV-set, without mini-bar
