Hotel 65 And Annex
65 Shepherds Bush Road - W6 7LS London
The Hotel 65 is a very pleasant hotel situated in the busy London Borough of Hammersmith, offering easy access to all of the major tourist attractions by public transport. King Street, just ten minutes walk away, offers good scope for shopping and there are several good restaurants and pubs nearby. The hotel offers nice, comfortable accommodation and the rooms exceed what would normally be expected of a 2* hotel. All rooms are furnished to the same standard but utilise different colour schemes and feature en-suite bathrooms, tea/coffee making facilities, satellite TV and hairdryer (on request). Some of the bedrooms are located in the annexe building and the breakfast room is located in the main building. The relaxed atmosphere of the hotel ensures that visitors are made to feel welcome. With the good amenities available we feel that this property offers ´value for money´ to all its guests.

This is a terrible place. Firstly, I was told I couldn't stay in the main hotel where I understood I had booked and had to go down the street. When I got to the building I had been told I was staying in the room key didn't work. The receptionist grudgingly gave me a room in the main hotel which was utterly miserable. I only stopped there long enough to phone directory enquiries and book into a real hotel. I can't understand anyone staying here, you would be better off in a youth hostel.

We did't know that we DIDN'T actually pay for our stay online by filling in our credit card number. We thought that we'd payd our stay by doing that, we got a bit chocked when our hotel manager asked us to pay when we checked out.... Everything were explained to us, but still, we think that the information should be clearer...

We stayed there twice; first time it was great, the second time it had new owners - give it a miss!

I would have liked the option on chosing a quiter room ie one facing away from the road. maybe as an alternative some ear plugs could be supplied! Overall it was very good for just one night stay although if I had to go for more than 1 night without decent sleep I wouldn't have been happy.

Didnt like the fact that we got moved down the street, bothered me when breakfast only goes till 9am and its freezing cold outside and u have to walk a few hundred metres to breakfast.. so incidentally we couldnt be bothered to go and get it. Apart from the beds having the springs digging into me all night hotel is ok for price, as london is very expensive for what u get. small bathroom but thats expected. room size not too bad for london standards, was a bit annoyed they gave us 2 single beds when we booked a double room. overall would choose somewhere else next time location was too far away and very average service

Budget hotel so don't expect too much space, but in good decorative order and all the important things worked.

I spent a short holiday in London, and I stayed at this hotel because my friends had recommended it. The staff was friendly and caring, the breakfast was ample, and the location was good, not off-the-beaten-track.
