Good value for money - especially for the London area. Good location as well, we were within walking distance (well, depends on how much you enjoy walking!) within most attractions.

Very central B&B. Showers and toilet very clean. The room was small but for two people was OK, also the beds were good. This is important when you go on vacation because most of the places you have problems with the mattress in this case I could sleep like a baby.

I would have liked to have known that it was right next door to Victoria train station.

I would liked to have known that the rooms were so small and dingy and I would also have liked to see pictures of the room before i booked it because had I, I would not have wasted over 200 pounds on it. I would never stay there again

A good place, very well situated. Very close of Victoria Station and Buckinham Palace. It's my first time in London but I could repeat this hotel

If the quality of the equipment (tv, fan in the bathroom) in the hotel would be better the hotel would be a good budget choice for young travellers requiring privacy not available in hostels.

The rooms at Holly House are extremely small (the bed takes up 3/4 of the room) so that you can hardly move. When you put your suitcase on the floor, which you must, because there is no other room for it and your clothes do not fit into the tiny wardrobe, you keep stepping on it all the time -the bathroom is so small that you have to open the door to be able to dry yourself after showering. But the rooms are also dirty. There were crumbs from the previous visitors on the carpet which stayed there during our entire stay (ten days) - probably because there was not enough space to handle a hoover in there. The bathroom was extremely dirty - there was old toothpaste on the soap tray, the wash basin was dirty, the spaces between the tiles were outright filthy -you could scratch the mould down with your fingers. The curtains were filthy and the room stank of old cigarette smoke, so they put loads of "air fresheners" in there which made it stink even worse. Even if a room is cheap I expect it to be clean. The staff were not friendly. Partly they were foreigners who spoke poor English. We were made to pay for the entire stay in advance - which I consider extremely rude - probably because otherwise after seeing the rooms we might have moved out the next day. The first room we had faced the tracks of the Gatwick Express, which rattles along every thirty minutes - not even with ear plugs was it possible to sleep the night through. We then moved into a different one which faced the street and was slightly better, but still not really quiet. The breakfast room is extremely tiny, so that you can hardly move - the breakfast extremely boring. Tea tasted like hot water, only cornflakes for cereal, extremely cheap marmalade and jam.
