The hotel is located in a rather quiet area of London but the city centre is really close. Actually, that was the main reason I chose it over other hotels and it'd be quite convenient if you're looking for both relaxation and excitement (Regarding location. Easy access to many shops, the underground, restaurants etc. but not overcrowded).

We liked very much this hotel. It's well located, very close to several subway stops, we can reach it by foot easily. If you like to do some shopping, Oxford street is very near too, ten minutes by foot.

Stayed at Holiday Inn Regent Park in April 2005. Booked on Hotwire for U$91/nt + tax. Even though the rooms are small by US standards, they were very clean and I loved the modern decor. Even though this hotel is a bit far from most of the attractions, the nearest tube station (Great Portland St) is within 3 minutes walk. Also, several bus routes stop a block away and they can take you to Oxford Street in under 10 minutes. I haven't tried the restaurant at the hotel, but there was an awesome breakfast cafe right in the back of the tube station. Overall, I would definitely stay there again, but only if the price is right.

Convenient for travel around the city. Untidy and old fashioned.

On our honeymoon in London, we stayed here for a week. Clean, affordable, comfortable rooms. Quiet building. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Except for not actually being within walking distance of anything we wanted to visit, it was perfect. It would have actually been perfect had the Underground system been running at full capacity, as a major tube stop is located one block away. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would consider it for our next stay in London.

Nice hotel, great staff, amazing location. Easy to get around, the tube was only 2 blocks away. I had good experiences with the front desk. I liked the customer service. Overall, I liked the hotel and would stay there again. I just thought it was more of a 3 star because of the dated rooms.
