Arrival, the receptionist took 5 min to find me in the system, then she said, welcome to the hotel, do you want a smoking room. I said yes please, as you can see on the voucher, looking in the system again and after 2 min. We don't have anymore smoking rooms, you have to wait till tomorrow. When I was in the non smoking room after 10 min she called and said it will be monday before she had a smoking room. I was very confused because they have one floor for smokers and I already did make the reservation in June as you know. After speaking to someone else(who was not friendly at all and kept talking) I got the smoking room on Saterday. Very unpleasant. But as I travelled alone, I don't like to have breakfast in the restaurant, but want to take in to my room, from saterday till wednesday it was alright. But thirsday there were other receptionists at the restaurant and they were making a fuss about me having breakfast in my room, because that was not allowed by their manager and I had to ask roomservice. After a long en very unpleasant conversation from those people they finally allowed me to take it upstairs.Anyway, it is a very good hotel as such, the rooms are fine, so are the cleaning ladies, but the other ones, most of them are not very friendly en they speak English very poorly.

+Great Location, beautiful, brand new modern hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. No room service, otherwise, excellent in every way. -It is a superior, luxury hotel, but they don't have room service.

The staff were very helpful and even though it was our second visit, they were more than happy to assist with any enquiry we had. 5* service and we'll be going back yet again!

This hotel is definitely 4 star--very comfortable beds with an abundance of pillows, nice restaurant with very good full breakfast, lovely setting less than a block from the Thames. The Hilton Honors Lounge is especially nice, including an exterior balcony. However, there are few of the London city buses that come out that way, there are no facilities whatsoever for children, and they permit a maximum of 3 persons per room. If you are travelling single or as a couple and can afford a taxi to your destination (or likes to walk), this would be an excellent choice for you. Families, look elsewhere!

+Centrally located and easy to get to -The charge to use the internet was too high and I did not use it for that reason although it is an important aspect of choosing a hotel for me
