My stay at this hotel was a great experience from beginning to end. It is a walk from the nearest tube station, but a beautiful one at that. Primarily we walked past homes and shops. On the journey, there is a Starbucks, Tesco (grocery store), and a few restaurants. This helped us in our stay and made the walk enjoyable too.

Always have recieved superior service from this location, staff friendly and knowledgable, and willing to go a bit out of their way in their concierge services.

Good Quality - Safe choice The hotel is in the middle of renovation and this creates some noice after 9 am, however the rooms are OK, clean and cosy. Bus No.94 stops just infront of the hotel and takes you down to Oxford street and Piccadily. 2 min away from the tube in a nice neighbourhood.

The location of this hotel is wonderful with a bus stop right at the front door and a tube station just blocks away, the neighbour is wonderful lots of great shops to buy food and goodies. The room was small but nicely decorated, however the shower was awful, no pressure at all. We had breakfast only once in the hotel and it was nice but not worth the cost. Can't stress enough that the cost was very reasonable with the location so excellent.

More than we expected. My friend and I recently stayed here for one week and were pleasantly surprised. The desk staff, concierge, housekeeping, and bartenders were all top-notch. Our room was recently renovated and not too small in size. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel was spotless and in a great location. I have already recommended this hotel to others who frequent London. Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay Stop at the concierge desk for any questions you might have regarding transportation around the city, or with help in planning tours. We let them plan a day trip to Paris that was really worth the money. The only negative of this whole trip was the fact that our dollar is fast becoming worthless, (we all know whose fault that is) so get ready to spend at least two times the amount you normally would in any big city in the USA.

I will never stay at the Hilton Kensington again. The rooms were marginal (construction going on in the room above as we tried to sleep following a transatlantic redeye), staff at front desk was the anti-host.

We stayed at the Hilton Kensington from June 7-13, 2007. The hotel was more than I expected after hearing nightmare stories of European hotels. This was a great hotel! I would compare it to any other Hilton that I have stayed at in the states. Clean, roomy, great bathroom, great location, lots of amenities. The conceriege was wonderful and helpful each day. The location was great. The hotel is in a residential area with a park just across the street, so really there was no noise. I never heard anyone in the rooms next to me and I know someone was in there because we would see newspapers and the like, but the walls were soundproof because we never heard a peep from anyone. If I were going to complain about anything it would be the price of the breakfast. It equalled about $40 USD. I would have to eat a lot of food to get that much worth out of the breakfast. However there is a TESCO (grocery store) very close and the prices were normal. We stopped in the mornings and bought muffins and bagels for less than $1 USD. I would tell everyone to stay at this hotel.
