Never again! I would not go back there without absolute assurance that there had been a complete change of management and service was now up to 4-star hotel guest expectations.

My room was lovely but really didn't like looking over the back of the hotel Room was fine but the deliveries early in the morning were not how you wanted to be woken up

Croydon Hilton Hotel We selected the hotel because of its location, being south of London, close to East Croydon station for trains into the city and also accessible from the M25, avoiding driving through central London and the congestion charge. There were other options close by, but the Hilton had its own swimming pool and that made the final decision easy. All of the staff we came into contact with were very friendly and helpful. Our room was large, nicely furnished and with a reasonable bathroom. It is obvious from the communal areas and the bathrooms that a refurbishment is needed to bring the hotel up to a good standard, but for the price we paid and its location, we felt we received good value for money. The food was fair, not great, but OK. I would stay there again if I got a good price for the room.

Better than expected I usually make decisions about where I stay based on reviews of the hotel from other guests. Some liked it, some hated it...but you really have to take into consideration the kind of person who is writing the review. I decided to give it a try because I should not judge the hotel based on a few bad experiences that were probably exaggerated anyway. The hotel was great, employees were very nice and helpful, prompt and attentive. It is true you can tell it's an older hotel by our room (yet still well kept), but the rest of the hotel (i.e. restaraunt, bar, lobby, pool, gym and other facilities) were great. I would definately go back.

Would not go back!!!! The hotel is in need of refurbishment, the rooms where clean and comfortable the state of the room and the building was in total disrepair(soap dish broken, cracked tiles,window had trouble closing,shower leaked could go on). Very disappointing for a Hilton

You need 1 hour to be in central London. 15 minutes walk and 45 minutes train and metro. The latest train from London to the Hotel goes at 23:35h. Taxi from Victoria Station will be 50 Pounds.
