Really surprised at how nice this hotel was. Perfect for what we were looking for, a base and just somewhere to rest our heads! Great location, huge room and bathroom, and very clean.

The Hotel was basic but comfortable. Breakfast was good. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Two minute walk from Marble Arch. Nice pub on corner of road. Would definitely use again.

+ In london you get what you pay for and in that respect it was reasonable value for money - I have a prosthetic leg and had to negotiate quite a lot of stairs which were a bit uneven and the carpet was a bit old - no-one to help me wit5h my bag

Overall a very poor guest house, reminiscent of Fawlty Towers! No hot water at any time, very very basic facilities, could do with a complete refurb...and to be cleaned wouldn't do any harm. It is the only, so called, hotel i've had to pay the entire balance before i've even been able to check in. I think the rating should be changed to 1 star...and I feel that is being more than generous!

Friendly, small, basic but clean hotel which is ideally located within a few minutes' walk of Oxford Street, Marble Arch (Tube) and Hyde Park.

Whilst the hotel was clean, the beds comfortable and the staff friendly and efficient the entire place is in urgent need of refurbishment and redecoration. Until this is done I would not recommend it to anyone else.
