The hotel is in a very good position. Our room was very small but the bathroom was even worse: a box with toilet, shower and washbasin in a corner of the room. The breakfast room was rather small too.

This is a good basic accommodation with no frills. I was placed in the next door building which involved going to and fro buildings and double locking and unlocking of the front door plus quite a lot of stairs which, being a little disabled, I found difficult. However, they provided what I needed in the way of a clean bed and bathroom with bathroom soaps, TV, hairdryer, and coffee making facilities with plenty of coffee and sugar. The continental breakfast was quickly served and every table had a mountain of jams and butter! Higher grade hotels usually fail in this so well done.

The map on the web site was wrong so it was hard to get there. I booked a room at Guilford House but actually I stayed at next door "Grenville House Hotel".It was a bit surprising. Staying there was OK.

The bathroom wasn`t clean. The bed was fine, nice clean sheets. Breakfast area was very cramped. The bell to let people in at all hours would wake one. The breakfast itself was ok.

This was my first time at the GH. As hotel rates in London are very expensive, I knew that for 69 pounds I wouldn't get any luxury. But the room was ridiculously small, private WC was caravan-type, floor was slope and beds very uncomfortable. We stayed fo
