Recently refurbished room was beautiful and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Attended an event in the evening and the meal, service only added to the enjoyment. Expensive but worth treating yourself when you can afford it!

Definitely worth a stay! If you don't want to take a full breakfast in the restaurant then the small authentic Cafe serves great coffee and pastries at great prices! Even cheaper than Starbucks!

The first room that I checked into had probably not been remodeled since 1960. Carpet was worn out and torn, the tile was coming off of the bathroom floor and walls, the matress had a dip in the middle of aproximately six inches, the bath tub had a six inch brown stain where the water had been dripping (and still was). One day after the daily maid service was done I came back to the room and noticed the most ransid odor throughout the room. I later found out that the maid rarely bathed and left this odor whereever she went. That stay of one week found me in four rooms trying to get something suitable. I am not that pickey.

Great Hotel Great hotel in a prime location of London. Is it situated wiyhin walking distance to Hyde park, Oxford street, Bond Street with it’s great shopping and pretty much to almost all attractions of London. I liked the room very much, it was very nice and of good size. We had newly refurbished superior room. Bed and pilows were excellent. The hotel is undergoing a huge refurbishment, but being in the hotel you almost do not see any workers and any dirt. My only complain is about breckfast and their restaurant. I did not like the brackfast, the choice was very simple, and the food wasn’t tasty. The restaurant was ok only to take a glass of wine. But overall, I was very sutisfied with my stay, and would definitely stay there again.

I liked the hotel location, charm, and the bar was very cool to hang at after work. I spent about 5 weeks at this hotel, for work. I was a bit frustrated at the sky high prices for coffee in the morning, it forced me out of the hotel rather than enjoy the lounge. (I mean REALY outrageous, like 8 dollars, not unlike many hotels. Could not justify as a business expense!) But I appreciated being away from crowds, and close to the park. The rooms were small, but not unusually so for europe.
