The room was much smaller than anticipated and our request for 3 single bedrooms was not met. the hotel needed some major refurbishment works as it looked fairly shabby and worn out ( although there were signs in the breakfast area saying that redecoration of the hotel was to take place) the quality of workmanship and decor was pretty cheap. I would class this a bed and breakfast place rather than a hotel - that said the service ( reception and breakfast) was friendly. Would I recommend the hotel to others or stay there again? - probably not.

I was very disappointed. I'd planned a holiday to celebrate my birthday and was given different rooms than the ones I'd booked, and the place was filthy.

we have ordered a twin B&B,which on the photoes look rather nice. The first night we were placed in a room in the basement, which was small and dark. the next day, they promised us a room in 1.floor, but when we entered the hotel in the evening we got another room in the basement, much better but not like the room on the photoes. The beds and toiletts were clean

+ We stayed at the grffin just as place to put our heads down at the end of the day, initially we were shown a room downstairs which was quite dark and had damp on the walls we asked if any others were free and were shown a double room upstairs, everything was straightforward basic excellent room and location for london couldnt want better for our budget. - Mould in the shower other than that everything else was fine perhaps tea facilities in the rooms would be nice.

Room in basement was not ready when we arrived at 3.00pm. Room very small, facilities barely adequate. Receptionist was polite and helpful but kitchen and Dining Room staff were most surly at breakfast.
