A 4star that is not a 4star! This is at most a 3 star hotel. Tiny room no place for suitcase, old hotel no maintenance and hotel staff not helpful. However, room is clean, which for me is the most important thing for a 1-night stay.

Basic but Comfortable Ideal for the museums. Takes only 5 mins to walk to the Natural History museum and is well served for small restaurants and cafes.

Great Location This hotel was good value for the money. It was located in a great area (South Kensington), close to the 'Tube', restaurants, etc. The hotel was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was helpful. The room was small but it is London after all. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. I would stay there again.

A very nice place to stay What a wonderful London experience in a grand old hotel on a quiet street just a few minutes from the Gloucester Tube Station on the Picadilly Line. Breakfast was excellent and included fresh fruit salad, yogurt, cold meat cuts, cheese and cereals. The staff were friendly. The beds comfortable. A grocery store was less than a 10 minute walk away where we could get sandwiches for picnics. A variety of restaurants are in the area. No complaints except we had to leave to come home!

Not impressed The only rooms with aircondition are in the basement. Those rooms are comfortably big also. Rooms on upper floors are very small. Coffe cup was dirty in our room. Service was nice.

We stayed for four nights and found the location absolutely ideal. We walked into the city one day and found it took about 45 minutes all up and at other times we used the tube which was just a short walk away. The room itself was nicely decorated and clean however it was extremely small. The bed however was very comfortable. All up we had a great stay and would use it again.

No high speed internet available in the sleeping room for whole stay, the most expensive breakfast in London, the smallest sleeping room I have stayed ever before
