Excellent location near the Tower Hill tube station and Tower, Tower Bridge and St. Katherine Docks. Very good shower / bathroom. Location is in the Financial District. Very limited night time activities (restaurants and bars are few and mostly closed on weekends and holidays / evenings). But due to excellent tube connection this is not much of an issue. Services in the hotel are more on a 4 than 5 star level.

I have stayed at this hotel a couple times and have found it to be a welcome change from the old and tiny rooms to be found at many hotels in London. The price is steep if you arrange directly with the hotel, however there is at least one web site...

Arrival at the City Grange was not the welcome experience of a hotel keen to make up to a guest. An extraordinarily impatient and brusque receptionist made no eye contact, offered no help with bags and believed that a sneering swoop of the ...

The room booked did not correspond to the standard of a 5-star hotel. My wife and I had the impression of a 2nd class room. For the rest everything was fine.

Lovely hotel, spent 2 nights for our anniversary and staff made us feel very comfortable. Room had good view of the tower, but bathroom was very small but fine. Breakfast was good and spa staff helpful. There are no loungers or areas around the pool to relax and read and no relaxation room either, so didn't get chance to really relax in the facilities. Would recommend to others.

We've spent only one night (7/04-8/04) in this hotel We've received room on third floor. Which was nice, view from window was breathtaking.. directly Tower of london across the street :) Bathroom was clean, well equiped, nice hair drayers in room and in bathroom. Electronic mini bar (better not to take nothing out, if u dont wnt to buy, because directly ur changed, of course u can explain it later, but it take a lot of precious time). On a weekends continental breakfast included, nice.. very tasty, a lot of range of yogurts, fruits, fruit sallads, muesli.Right on a corner is a subway (tower hill), KFC across main street. Generally its worth to visit, spend this money. Clean, clear, comfortable :)
