OK but spoiled by noisy guests and no night reception Mostly as you'd expect for a budget hotel, and to be honest it would probably be fine for most but I was stuck near a group of people who had clearly been out partying big-style and wanted to continue this until after 3:30am with ridiculously loud music. I was absolutely not going to challenge them directly after the skinful they had consumed, so was relying on reception to sort it out. However, at night everything is unmanned, so if you have a problem you're stuffed. That equals bad service in my view.

everything was ok. We could leave our luggage before and after check-inn. We had a room in the back of the house, it was quiet. If you have a room with view on the street, I think there is much rumour of the traffic. >It takes 5 minutes to walk to the underground ; you are after a few minutes walk in Oxford Street and Hyde Park - great location of the hotel.

The hotel is very noisy, the windows did not shut properly to keep out street noise, no lift, and despite recent painting the job is very slapdash . English breakfast and breakfast service really good.

Broken windows, the room was too small for two persons, it didn't correspond with the pics.It was too expansive for what we got

Excellant hotel Our room was well furnished very clean, there was a small fridge in the room tea coffee etc, and although not needed as the room was nice and warm there was half a dozen spare blankets in the wardrobe. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of it, the staff were very polite and helpful and the service was good. Great value for money and very central, oxford st is at the end of the road.

Generally excellent - but ... There was no plug in the sink, even though we asked for one. Better signage to Reception is needed on both sides of the doors. Room wasn't ready at 1 o'clock, which website and notice in Reception promised. We were given complimentary coffee while we waited (room was ready by about 1.40 p.m.). Service at breakfast was a bit slow. Staff are generally obliging and the hotel isn't too noisy considering its situation. Decor and facilities are good.
