Value for money I have stayed at this very conveniently located hotel in a garden square on several occasions. It is being refurbished and I had an excellent single ensuite room. A basic continental breakfast is included.I will return.

Surprised Yes I was pleasantly surprised at the positive and helpful attitude of the receptionist. The room was very clean, the bed linen and towels were nice and clean. The room was well presented. The shower room was clean and tidy - even the shower curtain went all the way round the shower!! Didn't do breakfast so unable to comment on this. Overall a pleasing and pleasant stay. Wil use this hotel again.

Twin beds not guaranteed Asked for twin beds in the booking process, arrived to find one small double and they had no other rooms available. Would have been nice to have been told in advance. Not a big problem for my particular circumstances, however still irritating. Room clean, very small but adequate, no TV remote which again is no real issue. Breakfast very basic, not much table room, a bit chaotic, but breakfast nonethess. Fill yourself up on muesli to save a tenner going to a sandwich shop! Value for money? You get what you pay for in London. If all you want is a roof over your head then fair enough, however I think I'll try somewhere else next time.

Nothing special, but convenient for the price. Although the hotel was comfortable, the bathroom really needed a clean, particularly the shower curtain. The wash basin taps were swivelling! The room telephone was disconnected and lay on the floor.... The room really needed a good hovering. Reception staff were very unhelpful with a couldn't care less attitude.

Good hotel if you are on a budget. Hotel was good enough for the price.

Beware of bed bugs The rooms have been recently renovated, however, the mattresses and toilets were not. There were bed bugs on the mattresses and the toilet choked a couple of time. Other than that, it is quite ok.

excellent location but! Eat at the indian (New Asian) just off earls court road. Travel on the tube after 9.30am its cheaper and less congested and use the Earls court road entrance not Warwick road. Go to breakfast a little later after 9am as its very crowded early on. Be prepared if you are a light sleeper that the front rooms in the building overlook the square and can be noisy - laundry truck makes a 5am delivery.

OK It was an OK place, the rooms were very tiny, beds a little hard, not a bad place, but for the price you could do better. I would stay there again if I had to

available and cheap - WYSIWYG - somewhere to sleep I was in a basement room, the higher rooms may have been better. There were no frills at all. Kettle and sachets of coffee and tea in room - that was good. Nowhere to do work at a desk or table. TV didn't work. I was helped at the desk to find both a post box and a telephone box. It was a very cheap rate for London. Would consider staying again for price but not in basement.

Not impressed The hotel was under refurbishment and the power to our room was turned off mid-evening, had to move to another (smaller) room. Location was noisy even in the middle of the night. Expected better for the money.
