+ It was in great location to lancaster gate station and therefore very quick to get everywhere - The room was a little small but perfectly adequate, the lift was out of order, and bar wasnt open

The staff were exceptionally helpful. I was traveling with my teenaged daughter and we found Elysee to be conveniently situated and very pleasant.

The room was well appointed and especially appreciated the quiet air con unit in the 30+ degree heat. But for two people the room was tiny - once we planned who was going to walk, who was going to remain on the bed, it was ok (for the money).

+ The staff were friendly and the room clean. - The first room we were given was very very small. claustrophobic in fact. we asked for another and they offered one in the basement, which we took.

The hotel is just renewed, the rooms are quite small but clean. Only 2 minutes from Lancaster Gate Underground, in a residential area near Hide Park.

A comfortable and clean hotel with small rooms but a good breakfast. Very helpful staff. Great surroundings and just 2 minutes walking from the underground station of Lancaster Gate. A good choice for a 2-3 days stay in London.

When we arrived we were told that there were no rooms booked for us, that they were already gone in spite of several telephone calls and a generous deposit sent by bank transfer. I must add that the staff found an acceptable solution to this problem but the initial shock was strong. The rooms are indeed even smaller than you can imagine and the showers are for the Barbie's world and with no basin, which is in the bedroom. All the rest is really fine: location, surroundings and breakfast.

We were very pleased with this hotel. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. We were very central to sites and just up the road from Hyde Park and Marble Arch. We walked to most sites or took the Tube which was just around the corner. Breakfast was perfect and nothing was too much trouble. The only problem was that only suitcases or people got in the lift, one or the other. But that was typical throughout Europe and not really a problem.
