I found travelling on my own I had a very comfortable/friendly welcome when arriving. The information book in my room was so useful and customer friendly. The bathroom was very clean and so was the room. Nothing seemed a problem to the staff. The breakfast was excellent with a very good choise of food.

We had a lovely freshly painted room to the front of the hotel overlooking the square. The scaffolding slightly impaired the view but this would not have stopped us coming to this hotel. The staff were efficient and friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Altogether a good experience.

I booked the room 2 months in advance, and asked for a room on the first or second floor. We were initially assigned, on our arrival, with a room on the fourth floor, and told that it was on the first or second floor, as requested. Then we were told that we could not switch, as all other rooms were assigned. Eventually, we were reassigned to a small double on the second floor. Both rooms we saw would classify as small and cramped, although Rick Steves guide said the rooms were spacious. Next time, I would find out in advance the dimensions of the room, the floor, the view. This cannot be done on the web site.

+ We are a family of 5 (3 adult children) and the two flats we had were perfect for us. The kids had the 3 room flat and we had the 1 room flat. Both had bathrooms and kitchens, and the kids' flat had a living room. The rooms were clean and pretty comfort
