Good location, close to central London. Reasonably friendly. However morning showers were a little icy as it took 5-10 minutes to get warm water - no need to turn on the cold!

The best thing about this place was its location- just two blocks from Paddington Station, so it was easy to find and easy to see attractions using the Tube. The room was nice; the front desk employees were a little terse, however. The worst thing about our room at Hotel Edward was that the shower had no curtain and that the toilet did not flush most of the time. Besides those inconveniences, our stay in London was lovely.

hotel was great in my opinion, close to underground and public transit. many places nearby to eat or to get snacks or shop. i would stay there again for my next trip to london. all facilities were operable. i had no problems at all with the hotel. staff was also very courteous and nice.

This hotel is in a great location. Short walk from Paddington Station and close to Hyde Park. The bed was comfortable, shower was good and at the end of the day, you pay for what you get. Note: it's noisy on the 1st floor, so ask for an upper level room.

Originally tried to put us in a tiny room that overlooked the fire escape that I would have gone mad in for 3 days with a tiny window to open only at the top. Luckily they had a spare room available on another floor and changed our room so the stay was good after this.

We were excited when we arrived to see such a lovely building, the same when we entered the lobby, the sam e when interacting with your staff, this good feeling ceased when we were shown a dreadful room in the basement, musty, no windows toopen dark and gloomy, a sheet of wood over the window at a fire escape. The good outcome of this is when I expressed my disatisfaction the clerk gave us room 500 which was all the difference between night and day. He was so helpful in his attempt to please me and he did. The other double room was only tolerable, you could barely get luggage and 2 persons in at the same time. I have never stayed at a 2 star before so perhaps my expectaions were all wrong. Thank you for asking for feedback. Catherine ibbs

The curtain is not in good order. People in the stair could easy watch our bed. The floor is dirty for the bathroom! No breakfast included. Seem that the price did not match with the quality of hotel. The only good is that it is close to Paddington station!
