Pleased with first vistit but very disapointed with second visit We stayed for one night in room 202, nice and comfortable room. We came 3 days later and stayed in room 205 and we were really disapointed. The room was rather small with a bad moldy smell. The only window was in a tiny "side" room with a restricted view to the back yeard. There was only space for one side table by the bed. But the staff was nice and helpful.

+ Hotel staff was very courteous and friendly. - The room we booked for 3 people was very tiny. so we upgraded to a 4 bed-room, which was more spacious. except the bathroom it was very small at both rooms.

My husband, 4-year old son and I stayed here in mid December, 2005. Though the room was small, it was clean and comfortable. A simple but good breakfast was served downstairs with tea/coffee, juices, boiled eggs, cereal and pastries. We were within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the tube. Elevator was a little tight, but we liked using the stairs.

The hotel was fine, conveniently located to Queensway, Kensington Gardens and Oxford street. The breakfast (included) was more than I expected from a free continental brakfast. The only points are: the room was very small (to work with my laptop I had to sit on the bed) and the rate for WiFi internet access disproportional.

I thought breakfast was a full english, so was disappointed to find it was continental. Would have preferred a room that didnt look out onto the back yard or with pipe running through it. But for what it cost it was excellent value.

Situated in an evironment without much outside traffic and not far away from bus and underground stations (5 min. walk) the hotel provided a fair value for money for us. Breakfast is quite ok, staff helpful. Beds were long enough and also ok as also the bathroom. The rather small room (not much space for clothes either!) definitely needs urgent refurbishment and was not always properly cleaned.

Hotel was very well situated. Short way to subway station. Nice rooms, good equipped. Staff was friendly. Cleanliness was ok except bathroom. Maybe bad day? Breakfast was fine. Although breakfast room very small managed in two days to get a table. Quality of breakfast was very good (continental - didn't try english breakfast).

+ The Hotel Staff was friendly and tried to help, location near paddington great - lift doors would not open at 5th floor, for the 3 days we were there had to carry luggage up 5 flights of stairs for fear of being stuck in lift

I booked a twin bed room but was given a double bed-- was changed to a smaller room with a single and a put you up bed--- no problem as it was a comfortable room.

Always good value but this time breakfast staff were very slow and confused with orders for cooked breakfasts.
