Not a good hotel for business travelers Wireless is free at the Prince of Teck pub on the main drag in Earl's Court. It's only a couple of blocks from the hotel.

good size, clean room and friendly hotel staff The Hotel is near one of the major tube hubs, so its easy to get around. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean but if the room is located at the front it will be noisy due to a busy road.

Entirely sufficient A safe bet, in a good location, but could use a bit of sprucing up.

Not a good hotel for business travelers The description posted for this hotel is a bit misleading. First, there is no wireless service in the hotel lobby. Yes, there is a computer in the lobby with an internet connection, but it’s not free and there’s only one computer. For wireless, your closest option is to go to the hotel across the street and sit in their lobby and pay an unreasonable amount for wireless access. Second, there is no satellite TV in the rooms. The rooms have a crummy little 11" TV that gets about 5 channels. The TVs are very old and the remote was covered in grime. This hotel is very old and has not been updated recently. For the most part, it appears clean, but due to age, chairs are soiled, the carpet is very worn, lamp shades are dirty, and the floor in the bathroom is very cracked. You do not get hand towels or wash cloths with your room. We were in a double, and we had 4 small bath towels for 3 nights and one night they only left 3. The hotel is on a noisey street and our window did not shut all the way. There was always a small crack open at the top. The small beds are very old and we could both feel the springs in our mattresses. The location of this hotel is great and a few of the people that work at the front desk are friendly but not necessarily knowledgeable about the area. Traveler's tip for business travelers Wireless is free at the Prince of Teck pub on the main drag in Earl’s Court. It’s only a couple of blocks from the hotel.

Not bad for the Price The hotel was old. Room was fairly large, but right on a main road with streetlight outside the window. Curtains blacked out the room, but was hot and stuffy. Bathroom large and clean with a terrific shower, great water pressure, nice fluffy towels. Bed comfy. Carpet old and stained, walls dirty with handprints. Cheap, easy to find, great area to stay, close to everything.

Excellent location Located between two good tube stops and near two major groceries this hotel is a good choice for a cost-conscious traveler. The room was very clean, the bathroom was spacious with plenty of hot water, but the beds could have been more comfortable. There were plenty of restaurants handy and major museums are within walking distance. Traffic noise may be a bother to some, and check before reserving to see whether the lift is working. Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay Buy fresh foods at local grocery stores and eat lunch or occasional dinner in your hotel room or in a park, and you can save a considerable amount of money. A good homemade sandwich, some fresh fruit, a little toes up and you are ready to go sightsee for another eight hours. Avoid expensive breakfasts!
