Mill Hill - NW7 3HU London
The great advantage of the 3-star Days Hotel London North is that this property manages to cater to all needs - be they for leisure visitors in search of value-for-money accommodation in London, en-route business travellers looking for a convenient location and larger than average rooms, roundtrip leisure travellers looking for a well-located stopover, or sports fans visiting Wembley Stadium (and Arena). Lying to the north of London, the hotel offers easy access to both Junctions 1 and 2 of England's first ever motorway, the M1. With the benefit of free parking to all guests, a fully licensed bar, a contemporary in-house restaurant and air conditioning throughout, the Days Hotel clearly meets the needs and expectations of today's travellers. The only problems were as stated above. I cannot emphasise how nice the room etc was. I had problems reaching the hotel the night before. I phoned the reception asking for directions and the reception staff had no idea where the hotel was, despite me asking very simple questions i.e. are you outside the M25 or inside the M25? The MAJOR problem with my stay was the trains running from 5am a very short distance from my window. This is clearly a very busy line with trains every few minutes. I was unable to sleep after 5am and was consequently very tired for my conference. It is this fact that ruined my stay. I would definitely recommend that information about this be available for people to see. I will be submitting a formal complaint.

The whole experience at the hotel was excellent. For the price, it was very good value for money. I have only one complaint. Originally, I booked three rooms, however, two days before the date of reservation I had to cancel one room. I telephoned the hotel to ask if my money for one room would be refunded, and they said I would need to talk with the agent i booked through. The agent said i would need to ask the hotel. I still haven't had an answer either yes or no to my query. Still waiting......................

Best value if travelling to London and located adjacent to the M1. Be prepared for a taxi ride to the underground station and a half hour ride on the tube into the centre of London. Would definitely go again! Located next to a motorway and a train line. Very accessible though, being beside the M1.

ive been using this hotel for 3 years , twice a year and it is the only hotel that i use in london .a bit away from the underground but close to the M1 and the M25 which takes you anywhere around england . friendly and helpful staff and a bargain for what you pay compared with other hotels in london . great rooms with magnificent bathrooms , very clean indeed . the one and only london hotel that i will use year in and year out . london days the only hotel on my lips whilst in london. the rooms are big and roomy very comparable to australian and USA motels. got everthing there except a good restaraunt. fair breakfast but bad dinner. Location not for everyone a bit of distance from underground but good for me. well planned garden and surrounds.
