Comfort Inn Victoria Hotel London

For London, this place was a bargain. It is located in a very nice part of town and close to Victoria Station and the tube stops. Friendly pub around the corner. Rooms were small but immaculate. My complaint was that the safe in the room did not work so we had to check valuables at the desk every time we went out. Also, they wanted a 10 pound (Sterling) deposit for the television remote control. (Refunded on check out) The buffet breakfast was nothing more than toast, coffee and jam. But, this is London and we got the place at a good price. I would not hesitate to stay here again as my SECOND choice, assuming my first choice was not available.

The hotel was about 1/2 block from Victoria Station so it was very easy to get to the tube or the train. The room was very small but it was clean. However, the beds weren't very comfortable and the pillows were very thin. But, since you don't spend much time in the room anyway, this is a good place to stay in terms of convenience and value.
