I guess the price was a good deal for London, but London is very expensive. What we paid for this room would have bought us a very nice room in the US with a full breakfast. We didn't realize the breakfast was extra so that was a disappointment considering we only ate because we thought it was free and then only had a piece of bread! The room was extremely warm and inconveniently located down a long hall and thru two additional doors before reaching our room. It was a fairly dumpy room but the bathroom was HUGE with a very large tub, which was nice. We would stay there again only because it is a great location and as prices go in London, it was a good price.

We were given a room under the street level with a view of the back wall, the toiled did not flush properly and the whole room and especially bathroom did not seem renovated for years. The location was excellent but that was about it.

The shower was fossil, the remote-controll was out of order and they couldn´t manage to exchange it, a bulb was bust and they couldn´t manage to exchange it, too. And we´ve got a basement-room with an awful view to the manky backyard. I will never never book this Hotel again!

The outward look of the building was very nice, while the view from within was not so nice.

Noise from street-moderate. Paper thin door separating adjoining room. Could not use TV...would have kept neighbor awake...the door was that thin. Second through 6th night...we moved across the hall and down one floor. Very quiet, room more conventional (square)...worked out fine for remaining nights...shower only marginally better. This hotel is in a great location. If they spent 100 pounds on each room, fixing minor problems and another 5000 pounds on other problems (both elevators were not running the day we left...not easy when you are moving bags to street level)the place would be pretty acceptable.

Hotel was well placed and central. Staff were helpful and tried hard to accommodate us, as due to flooding, we were meant to be re-located to Hampstead. We were not informed of this alteration until we had registered.
