In a good quiet residential location. Very handy for parents visiting students at Middlesex University.

Since I am answering the questionnaire I have tried to be honest. It looks as though the place could do with a little refurbishment. On the other hand it was good value for the price that we paid having booked on the internet. Had we paid desk price for the room I would not have been so happy. When we were staying last year we had a better room and, on balance, we would not hesitate to come back. The staff were very agreeable.

Temperature in bedroom and breakfast room was far to high. Woke in early hours of morning and had to open the window even though it was November. Again in breakfast room - could have worn swimwear and would have been comfortable!! Bed and pillows very comfortable. Needed a boost for the aerial as reception on TV was not brilliant. We asked for 2 bulbs to be replaced at breakfast and they had not been replaced by 7pm. Area is a quiet residential area with no traffic noise. Would use this hotel again if I had to be in immediate area again otherwise I wld possibly try another hotel.

We were able to book online easily, using Multimap.com and typing in the postcode were able to locate the hotel easily. We said at booking time that we would arrive after 10pm and were welcomed by friendly and informative reception staff. Although the fire certificate was displayed the room we were booked into would have been difficult for a less able person to ecape from in the event of a fire. The reception staff ought to ask guests if there would be a problem with stairs for this reason.

Excellent for visiting London (overground train every 20 minutes; train station is at an easy walking distance). Hotel has good, old-fashioned atmosphere. Nice old building in quiet neighborhood. Friendly staff. Slight problem with central heating was promptly repaired.

The bar and lounge area was small, poorly stocked and often not attended. It was very difficult to entertain friends or family members in the hotel area, consequently we took guests elsewhere

I wish I'd known there was no room service or restaurant available. I had travelled for 5 hours, arriving around 9pm and was tired and hungry. I was offered a take-away pizza which I ordered but would have preffered something a little more healthy and inviting.

Room was very 'tired' ; no shampoo / shower gel in shower so no-one had checked this. Also room service meal was dreadful - fish was over-cooked & chips were lukewarm. I always use room service as I have to work in the evenings and this was the worst I have encountered. Your staff were good - competant & polite.
