The hotel was promised as a four star and the photographs make it look very large and plush however, when you arrive you are "greeted" with staff who were surly to the point of being rude, and who felt they should not have to help you at all. There was a faceless card for which to operate the lifts. The room was nice enough fairly spacious but the bed was a tiny queen size , why? Also, there was no bath just a shower. The hotel was situated conveniently enough for major attractions and the tube. On checkout the man was again very rude with no verbal dialogue whatsoever, he did not even enquire as to how our stay had been, we were charged £1 for each bag we wanted to leave until midday - despite us checking out early.

This is a lovely hotel but we had a few issues with it. When we arrived they didnt have a record of our reservation but I had my confirmation email with me so they soon sorted it out. It is a real shame that there is no bar or restaurant and while I knew this before I booked, it would have been nice to have a few drinks in the evening before heading out The location is excellent - could not fault it, right on Trafalgar Square and close to all transport etc The rooms are quite small but they are nicely decorated and very modern and clean I would definitely return for a short stay as I felt it was a good hotel in very central London at a good price

Stayed for two nights at weekend. Great location for West End. Arrived before check-in time but no problem, warm welcome and great room. Excellent value for money for the location and quality of accommodation.

They charge one extra night to the amount my bill in my credit card as deposit but they they "forgot" to return us the money, even i advised them the first day that we arrived at hotel. We have to make a complain to VISA to reclam our money. Staff unfriendly.

I expect this hotel to be much more expensive once the restaurant and bar is finished, but at the moment the value for money is excellent!
