Stayed for 3 nights in Room 12 which is down stairs. A large room but right under the breakfast room. There is little sound proofing, so expect early morning wake up with foot steps and clinking dishes etc. A lack of clear explaination with the booking led us to be billed for 2 mornings of breakfasts when we thought the breakfast was included for all 3 days. Review your booking in detail - breakfast is only included the first morning of your stay.

Delightful, quiet boutique hotel The Clarendon is part of the Bloomsbury collection of boutique hotels offered by the Grange Hotel group. It is located less than a block from Russell Square, two short blocks from the British Museum, and has excellent access to bus and tube transportation. It is quiet and comfortable and fits well into the literary history of the neighborhood. Traveler's tip on local attractions All of London is close at hand, either on foot or by very convenient public transportation.

Good Location and Nice Hotel If possible walk to Holborn Tube station rather than Russell Square, it is a lot quieter and not too much further. The Oyster card is also worth purchasing, it does make travelling around London a lot more convenient as you don't have to queue for tickets.

They must have glued that extra star on themselves At all costs, avoid an Italian Resteraunt off Liecester square called Giovanni's. It's a complete sham and the food is awful. Also, don't splash out on the Heathrow Express is your flying in because the hotel tube stop (either Russel Square or Holborn) are on the same line as the Heathrow tube (Picadilly) and starting from Heathrow you're gaurenteed a seat all the way.

Excellent Place to stay in London Had a meal at The Covent Garden Grill before going to the Theatre. Excellent Food and before 5.30 pm they have a very reasonable Table D'Hote Menu. Would definitely go there again.

Great Location Travel after 9.30am on all London transport with an off peak day ticket, zones 1-4, for 5.90 (pounds) is very good value.
