I had a king size bed, and would have liked the mattress to have been a king size, rather that 2 twins put together. Apart from that, the hotel is just perfect, and probably one of the best small hotels in the WORLD

The perfect British hotel The perfect "British" hotel. GREAT location - quiet! The price is right. Not a perfect 5, but given the price I wouldn’t expect it to be. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling to London.

The Chesterfield Mayfair is a four-star hotel, but as you walk in, you will find yourself in a beautiful intimate lobby, decorated in a warm traditional British style which is far more pleasant and relaxing than the busy and huge five-star hotels in the surrounding areas. It is located 3 minutes walk from Green Park Tube Station, on the Victoria Line. The service is warm and friendly and room service is available 24/7. The rooms are individually decorated and most of them have their own matching bed-linen... try the Jungle Suite! The bathrooms are quite large, in some rooms the washroom is larger than the room itself!! The Bar is dark and quiet, and a pianist often performs jazz or easy-listening music in the evening. Butler restaurant serves excellent British food and has a good value (considering that you are in Mayfair which is one of the main posh areas in London). This hotel is highly recommended.

I'll stay here again. This hotel exceeded all my expectations. They basically did everything we asked of them. Did it promptly also. Extremely helpful in all areas. They had a lift that was out of order a couple of times. No longer than a couple of hours though.Outside of that, everything was great. Fastest and most punctual room service I have ever experienced anywhere! That's a fact. My wife wanted a bucket of ice about every day and they would have it there in less than 10 minutes every time. Most of the time in less than 5. Amazing. I will definitely stay here the next time I'm in London. God willing.
