+ The bellhops were very friendly and willing to help. they answered any questions we had about london with honest enthusiasm which definately made a positive first impression. the hotel double room is simply a room and bathroom with few frills, and the elevator is tiny and slow, but the hotel is only a few minutes from the main paddington station with many resturaunts and international services (money exchange or wire, etc.) nearby. - It isn't the rubens across from buckingham palace, but for 50 pounds a night instead of 150, it was excellent!

Location of the hotel I am an often traveler. During every year I am accomodated in more than twenty hotels. Hotel the Brunel was the worse hotel I have visited this year. There was not cold water in the bath-tub - due to this no possibity to have a shower!

Good value at great location If you’re going to London on a time schedule, this is a hotel to consider. After an overnight flight, I was able to shower, change, and get to my evening meeting downtown without complication. It is within 3 blocks of Paddington station, with its 15-minute express train to Heathrow in addition to easy access to the Tube. There are a number of nice shops/places to eat between the station and hotel. The neighborhood, with its Victorian Architecture, reminded me of Georgetown. Traveler's tip for business travelers The rooms may not be ready before the stated check-in time of 14:00.

It's not too far away from the underground station. The internet access cost should be lower.

Our first room was small, run down with uncomfortable beds and had a very strong smell in it. Luckily staff was very nice and helpfull and changed our room into much better one for the rest of our stay.

+ Quiet and peaceful. - The carpeting was old but that is not a negative, just a statement.

The bed was most uncomfortable, I could feel the springs and got bitten from ?bedbugs. Have booked with them to stay on the 6th and 7th July, hopefully it will be a better. Thank you.
