-beds were uncomfortable and breakfast was poor

Distinctly average Initial impressions were good, with the hotel being easy to find (5 mins walk from Canary Warf tube station) and having a grand entrance hall and reception. However, the decor was dated and starting to look shabby. Comfortable enough, but "double room" was actually 2 single beds pushed together. Use of leisure facilities came at an extra charge, which was offputting, as were some of the smaller details (such as the kettle in the room not fitting under the tap). Staff weren't rude, but neither were they particularly friendly or helpful. Next time we would look to stay somewhere else.

German Staff at check in was wery helpfully. Check in is very long, there do everthink handmade.Open the room doors a very komplikatet. Pool opens on Sunday at 10 am, its very late.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights and were absolutely shocked at the condition of the hotel, attitude of the staff and the cleanliness of the rooms. Our room had nightstands with broken handles, the TV stand was broken. Upon getting into bed we found hairs in the bed, I don't think they clean the rooms much. We also had asked for a 6am wake up call as we had an appointment set up for the following morning which we never got.

Is a nice hotel, with a very good breakfast (even though the same since long time-I use to come often because it is close to my workplace). The really bad thing is the service personnel who starts knocking and bursting into the door each time too early; for instance during last week they started knocking&bursting in the room as soon as 7.30h in the morning, and the last morning did it three times until 8.00h. The reception and gym stuff are very friendly.

+The View. The location. -The entrance shows the signs of grandeur but the room reflect the diminished luxuries. The first night was a nightmare. Instead of a double bed we got a double base with two single mattresses on top, which moved and left a gap. It was very uncomfortable. The springs were sticking out and felt by our bodies. We didn’t sleep well at all that night and remained very tired the next day, which made it difficult to do what we planned to do. We complained and they changed the room for us for the second night. The mattress was double this time, but still not comfortable. It is a pity as the hotel could be very nice experience to stay in.

Nice clean rooms and good service.. We went on coach holiday so the food was not in main restaurant so food was cold most days not much choice. The pool and Jacuzzi was cold not heated at all. We had good time though , we went for new year entrainment was really bad we were bored and so was other people.

This hotel is a bit tired now in need in major refurbishment. The staff do their best with the materials they have.

That there was a car parking charges of -u15 for guests staying at the hotel.

no internet access in room for '144 a night is not acceptable for business travel. bar staff not very friendly. food in bistro poor. room was clean. overall not too impressed.
