Not Worth the Money... Looks a bit run-down. Staff seemed a bit apathetic. Looks like it could be a really good hotel, if some cared enough about it....it worked for the one night we stayed there, but would not have done for any more than that...Additionally, it was not worth the money paid for the room.

Hampstead Britannia - A Dump My girlfriend had warned me that it wasn’t good since her parents had booked there for several nights and it was so bad that they checked out after the first night. My experience was similar (I paid for 3 nights and only stayed 1 night). The hotel is poorly maintained. The desk chair in the room had big rip in it. No air conditioning. While the wall tiling in the bathroom was attractive, the rest of the bathroom was less than desirable. The bed was absolutely the worst bed I ever sleep on - it should have been retired 10 years ago if bought at all. There is wireless internet access but not in the room - you have to go to the lobby. The armoir door was coming off the hinges and I had to request to be repaired (and even after the "repair" it didn’t close properly). One of the light bulbs was out and I had to call for replacement. I thought the TV didn’t work, but apparently it did - figuring how to work it was less than obvious. Oh, I forgot to mention, I stayed on the fifth (top) floor and that was the "nicest floor". One of the 2 elevators was out of service. The only nice things about the hotel: 1) that lounge area was nice and spacious 2) daily happy hour 3) the room is relatively spacious and 4) it is located in a nice suburban area of London. This place is a dump and a particularly bad value given the price I paid. The hotel said it was 3 stars and I can tell you that I have stayed at 3 star hotels and this hotel would struggle to get 2 stars. Caveat Emptor.

great location this hotel was in a great location, in a residential neighborhood, about 10 minutes from a tube station. the rooms were clean. the beds were uncomfortable but overall i would recommend this hotel for the price.

Underrated and comfortable, in a fantastic location My stay here was fantastic. I was in town to play an audition, and they were more than happy to provide me secure storage for my instrument and even chose to place people on my floor in rooms far from mine so I could practice! The staff was helpful, and the Camden location is beautiful. The only complaint - slightly uncomfortable beds, but still, not unbearable.
