We, my son and I, stayed in the Bower House Hotel and enjoyed it. The rooms are small but clean and complete (even a hairdryer!), staff is very fiendly and helpfull (they gave us usefull tipps where to eat the "hood"). Breakfast, which is included, is OK. You can pay more and get more. The location ist super, near Victoria Station where every bus- and undergroundlines meets. I will stay again in the Bower House Hotel!!!

We had a very pleasant stay at the Bower House. Excellent value for central London. The hotel is more like a bed and breakfast, but this was not a problem.

Hotel being renovated, so public areas makeshift. Room just renovated, excellent, top class bathroom. Horrible coffee and croissants for breakfast, and toast equally awful (just awful quality bread), but at the price (£50 double), suppose can't complain.

Room and location was very good value for money. Little minus to pay extra for the full english breakfast, when we got the impression from web (venere or hotel?) that it was included.

We travelled with two children and had a quadruple room. It was very small, but that was what we expected. The room was very clean and the location near Victoria Station was excellent for sightseeing in London. We enjoyed the stay very much.

The onliest thing what I found quite surprising, that, if you booked the Bower House Hotel, you have to walk max 3min to the Gregorian Hotel to have your breakfast. If it is raining it'll be really annoying.

We actually stayed at the hotel on three separate occasions. The first was for 2 days was in a very small quiet room out the back. The second time we had been given a superior room even though a standard had been booked. The room was bigger and more comfortable but a little noiser as it was at the front. The third time (booked at the time of our second stay and not through Venere) was a standard room on the first floor which was just as nice as the superior room but again a little noisy because it was at the front. All in all the building was an old building that had been converted to rooms so everything was a little old - bathrooms were very small but we were told to expect this in London so we didn't really mind. It definitely was close to Victoria Station and within walking distance of most attractions in Westminister. Compared to other places it was definitely a bargain. Most staff were pleasant and willing to assist especially when we had to leave a bag there whilst touring for 2 weeks and when we had to get to the airport quickly one of the staff (Thomas) booked us a mini cab which was very economical. Would stay again - don't expect too much this is London!!
