A decent and fairly inexpensive hotel near Soho & just a few blocks from the British Museum. Rooms were decent size and had a nice cupola window view onto the street. Breakfast was great with lots of food available. Overall, a good hotel for the price.

Better than expected Nice clean comfortable hotel. Was not clear that we would have to sleep in single beds. It was near the museum and Covent garden. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in London.

Although the Bathroom was very old, everything was clean and the bedroom was spacious. Very close to 2 tube stations, buses across the street. As the hotel was not aware of my venere.com-reservation it is absolutely important to bring along a hardcopy of

I would have like to have seen a picture of a room before I arrived.

Appalling The hotel was old and decrepit. The bathrooms were extremely old suites and quite unpleasant. The windows in the room didn't open and the heating was on so high it must have been 40 degrees centigrade which meant sleep was impossible. The staff on reception were slow and unhelpful. The lifts were the slowest I've ever encountered so if you are planning on staying here allow at least a 10 minute wait to get to the ground floor from the sixth! Also, the hotel staff struggled to speak English. All in all, a disgrace. I'd rather have paid 200 pounds for a taxi home and will do in future.

Good location-near a tube station and not too far from main attractions. Clean and quiet. Has a lift and luggage room.

Comfortable and convenient! I really liked this hotel and would definitely go back. The beds were very comfortable and the room size was OK for London. I was pleasantly surprised at the water pressure in the shower. Much better than other London hotels I’ve stayed in. The Cellar Bar had just opened its doors the week before our stay and we found it a great place to kick back and discuss the days events. The staff could not have been better and I give them an A+. We had breakfast included with our rooms and it was always good and a lot of variety. Very happy customer. Traveler's tip on dining Just a few steps away from the hotel are some really good places to eat. There is an Indian Cuisine place on the same street just up from Subway. Starbucks is next door but I much preferred the more quiet coffey shop 3-4 doors down from it. We all enjoyed the Queen’s Lager after the days spent in business meetings. And 2 doors up from it is a great Italian place. you don’t need to go far for good food.
