Very central location, in a vibrant part of London. Nice pubs and restraunts close by, and of course Hyde Park.

I stayed at the Blakemore for a week in October. It was a great experience. Not only is it close to the tube and the lovely Kensington Park, but it's situated in a nice little neighborhood, walking distance to shops, pubs, internet cafes and other areas like Kensington. The staff was friendly and for the most part, helpful. The breakfast deal we had was continental and it was definitely that. I think I'd have preferred the full breakfast, but that's available if you want to pay the difference. The room was small (we had two beds) but we managed and it was great that all rooms are ensuite. All in all, it was a tremendous value and were I to go back, I'd definitely stay there again.

Unfriendly staff and a pigeon problem made our stay less enjoyable than we were expecting. The hotel description failed to mention that the cooked English breakfast costs extra.

Thank you Blakemore for being so excellent in value, service and in cleanliness. Located close to the beautiful Hyde Park, good for evening walking! I would suggest this hotel for anyone who desires a more relaxed area of London.
