This is a quaint, Victorian hotel. The room was beautifully decorated with a very comfortable double bed. The bathroom was large and included a claw footed tub with shower. All modern conveniences including a hair dryer and electric kettle with tea, coffee and hot chocolate. TV with cable, phone, desk and pants press. Continental breakfast was fine. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location, close to subway, grocery store, pubs. Very quiet at night. Would stay here again.

+ Location, cost & availability. The hotel was a 'means to an end' ie. a night at a function and not the focus of being in London. - Poor quality of breakfast and poor service at breakfast, small room that was poorly laid out. Heating system that kept you

We had a really good stay - and would consider booking a return visit to the same hotel - if I have one criticism - I was disappointed with the standard of the evening meal we had - and with it being very busy in the run up to christmas along with a major event in Earls Court, breakfast on some of the days we stayed were slow and there was insufficient staffing to prepare 200 meals leaving waiting staff to deal with unhappy customers. One other point - Whilst appreciating that we were staying in London - I must comment that the prices of Drinks at the bar were exorbetant - taking into consideration prices charged out & about in the surrounding area.
