Good central location, nice communal areas especially the grand lobby. However basic rooms that would benefit from some modernisation.

Having cancelled a booking at the Regent palace because it stated no breakfast I thought at twice the price breakfast was included at the Berners. and was supprised to find it was not. I recomend that all hotels state if they supply breakfast or not.

We were very pleased with the efficient and courteous staff, the general ambiance especially the main sitting and dining areas and the excellent breakfast. The Berners Hotel is ideally situated just a short walk from Oxford Street, tube and buses, yet does not suffer too much noise from traffic etc. The hotel was quite busy which must be a good indication of it's popularity, we would certainly stay here again.

Your hotel ranks amongst the best I have stayed at during the last year. The ensuite bathroom was looking a bit tired. Everything else was excellent.

For some reason, although I had only booked one room and received confirmation for this when I checked in there were 3 rooms booked. The receptionist cancelled these but on return to my office I had an email saying I had not checked out and would be charged the full amount. I had checked out and paid my full bill, I queried this with the hotel and was told it was a mistake but I found it rather disconcerting. The service both in the reception and restaurant, and food were excellent.
