Family who runs the B&B is really nice. Good rooms, good breakfast, and great location - near Hyde Park and Paddington Station, so easy access to the rest of the city. I'd definitely stay there the next time I'm in London.

Proprietor Mr. Bhasin and family have operated for 19 years and do the best possible with this older building to accommodate guests, which includes a respectable breakfast presentation. But be prepared for small rooms, tight spaces, and little bathrooms, and no elevator. Maintenance is a bit lacking. Where is has been done, it doesn't appear the best craftsmanship is employed. This property is typical of the many 3-story flats that have been converted to hotels in this area that is conveniently located just blocks from Paddington Station where Heathrow Express arrives. The hotel operators are friendly and strive to meet your needs, and provide useful information about how to sightsee and travel about London. SP/Sept 2007.

I booked this B&B(hotel) 3 months before when I would stay at B&B. But I had to chang my itinerary and cancelled my booking 1 month after. Nevertheless, the whole of a room price was charged to my account! They didn't describe cancell on their Web Sit!!

The kindly South Asian couple that runs this modest B&B hotel knows how to make guests feel at home! The rooms are adequate, accomodating from one to four people, most are en suite, and the breakfast (served in the basement breakfast room) is good and nourishing. A short walk from Paddington Station, The Barry House is one of London's undiscovered gems. I stay there every time I am in London.

've seen other cheap hotels in London and I can say that this hotel is the only one I can recommend to my friends when they ask for a cheap and clean hotel in London. It is not luxurious but it is very confortable and clean. Mercy

+ The price of the hotel in the location, easy to get to just out side the conjestion charge, 10 mins walk and you were on Oxford st, from there you have axcess to the major sites. The hotel it self was clean warm and comfortable. Will use again
