Staff were very nice and helpful and did their best to accomodate my needs. The area of Turnpike lane isn't excatly a great area; it doesn't seem very safe especially at night. My room was rather old, especially the bathroom. I had also phoned the hotel before booking to confirm the facilities and was told that all rooms had a kitchenette. My room only had a fridge and sink. I did speak to hotel staff regarding this upon arrival and their were no rroms with a kitchenette available, but they did offer to bring a microwave into my room but I passed on this offer. If you bring your own laptop, you will have free Internet available in your room. Price was good and also included a basic breakfast no cereal just juice, tea/coffee, a pastry and toast. The hotel has recently been reopned I think and this does reflect in your stay, staff seem to be quite inexperienced but do try and assist you!

Just because this hotel isn't in very central london area dosen't mean it will be 2 or 3 star hotel. we loved this hotel, everything was so good. the hotel is 2 min walk to turnpike lane underground station which is on piccadily line (central london) the trip from turnpike station to piccadily circuis is about 8 minutes. im going back next year.
