Very good location, with two metro stations near. The rooms are very smalls, you hardly pass between the bed and the wall but at least you have your own bathroom. The price is logic for london's standards, enough clean and a decent breakfast is served. reco

Okay, here's the real deal with this place. If you are expecting a real upscale hotel with spacious rooms and fancy breakfast, then don't stay here. However, if you simply want a VERY inexpensive place to stay in a VERY cool and central part of London, th

The hotel room is really tiny and spartan. This did not bother me or my traveling companion. Especially for the price. The hotel served our purposes well, and the price was good. It is across the street from Kensington Gardens, a minute's walk from bus li

Small rooms, beds are ok - bathroom shabby/dirty. Continental breakfast very poor no cheese or meat, only jam.

I stayed in An-Nur hotel for 5 days and it was better than I thought. I had read some rewievs which weren't so nice so I was afraid that the hotel would be horrible. But it was very cheap and it was totally worth the price! Our room was small and there was a tiny bathroom including a shower. The shower wasn't good, because the water pressure was poor. It took ages to get wet and after the shower the whole bathroom was wet. Also the shower curtain was bad because as it get wet, it started to smell awfull!! But all in all, the bathroom was very clean and the towels were changed every day. We couldn't completely close the window and it was a little open all the time. This starts to sound horrible, there were also positive sides in the room. There was a tv with about 7 channels (also sky1) and a radio. The room was cleaned every day and there was a register so it didn't get too cold. There was also a continental breakfast served though it wasn't anything special: white bread with butter/marmelade, serials, tea/coffee/orange juice. We bought some fruits that we took with us to the breakfast so it was a little better then. The lift was now working (some reviews said that it wasn't) and the staff was very helpful and nice. The hotel was easy to find (even though we arrived at 11pm) and the location was perfect! There were two tube stations (Queensway and Bayswater) very near (only few minutes walk) and Whitley's shopping center with restaurants, a cinema and shops. It was also a very nice and safe area. Hyde Park is just across the road.

We have traveled Europe for the last 7 years for 3 1/2 weeks out of each year. This is by a great margin, the WORST experience we have ever had. The room was filthy, the elevator never worked while we were there and we were on the 6th floor. We asked for a physical wake-up call on our 6th and final night so that we could make a flight the next morning back to the States because the phone was missing from our room the entire time we were there.. We were never awakened and found the desk clerk asleep on the couch below and missed our flight. We were compelled to stay there because we had paid in advance and had no choice to receive a refund. Need I say more....

Dirty, small room. Shower unusable. No facilities. Breakfast a joke. Friendly staff in reception. Unfriendly staff in breakfast room. Poor value for money. Never again

My wife and I spent a week at An-nur hotel in August 2005. It was a sightseeing tour from Ukraine so we didn't know much about the place before the visit except for some, er, negative reviews on the i-net. Frankly speaking I didn't even show them to my wife! But everything I had had in mind changed shortly after we opened the door. The room was comfy, the TV set worked, the bathroom was clean and the staff was polite. It rained a lot those days, but the 24-hour free coffee and tea kept us warm. Next time we're in London, we're sure to start our search for the place to stay from the An-nur hotel!

My room was filthy, and although a 'double' was still very small. Ground floor lobby looks presentable enough, but when you get up to the rooms they're very poor. I use 3-star in London a lot, and this is at the very lower end - there are many better a
