We stayed in a family suite (myself, husband, and 16 and 18 year-olds) for 8 days and were very happy with our experience at the Amsterdam overall. Little touches like interesting magazines in the room, newspapers available everyday, and fresh...

+ Staff was very friendly. - We had to wait quite a while for our room to be ready. For international travellers arriving early, they should have some sort of policy to have rooms ready for early arrival. Also, we had some difficulty obtaining recommendat

Likes: Great location just around the corner from Earl's Court Tube station. Several good reasonably-priced restaurants, grocery stores, banks, and post office close by. Only a 20-minute taxi ride from Heathrow or 35-minute Tube ride. Takes maybe 20 minutes to get to the major sights in town and only 5-10 minutes from Harrods, Nat Hx Museum, V&A, Science Museum, and Notting Hill. Staff was friendly, helpful, and tries hard to please. They have a number of rooms/suites that can fit larger families (5-6 people). Rooms were clean & some have microwave, dishes + fridge. Continental breakfast of toast, croissants, cereals, yogurt, fruit, juices, tea & coffee. Free wifi + computer room with printer for your airline boarding passes and reservations. Good value.

As an asthmatic,I found the stairs difficult as the lift was not working during our stay. Also maid service was late in the day. However the level of cleanleness was excellent. Overall an enjoyable stay and I will be using the hotel again next time I visit London.

+ Very good location close to Ears Court tube. Friendly staff, small but clean room with comfortable beds and a lot of towels. Traditional continental breakfast with a possibility to get cooked breakfast at extra cost. - Very small bathroom.

This hotel is a most pleasant stay. I will certainly stay here in the future. It is convenient to the Tube, which makes the whole city accessible. The staff was accomodating and hospitable. The room was clean and pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel.

Loads of restaurants in the area, our favorite in an alley across from the Kings Arms pub, The Little French Restaurant. Next to that, a wonderful little wine bar and a little further towards the underground station, a lovely Thai restaurant.
