Villa Guadalupe was exceptionally clean and the staff friendly and accommodating. The rooms were amply sized, well appointed and comfortable. Location high above Malaga with panaromic view of the city and the Mediterranean. The hotel restaurant menu, wine list and service were excellent. Convenientally located to the Malaga airport, with parking available if you're driving.

The management and staff were very helpful from all aspects and very obliging.Always willing to offer assistance.Food was splendid Spent 12 days at the hotel and every day was a pleasure. Only downside was room a little small and could have done with a double bed.Small problem with extractor in bathroom otherwise near perfect hotel.A car is a necessity.

A wonderful welcome after ariving off a late flight- nothing was too much trouble and the staff were just delightful and surroundings just superb. Meal was beautiful - we could not have asked for a better place to stay and would not hesitate to reccommend this hotel. Gillian & Robbie Kerr

+The restaurant is great and the food very delicate and nicely prepared. A fantastic view over the city (Malaga) from the hotel terrace.

This villa which has only been open for 4 years, is clean and beautifully decorated. There is a nice dining room and another dining area on an outside terrasse. The food we chose from the menu was excellent. Breakfast is adequate and is a "help-yourself" small buffet with fresh and packaged breads, fruit, cheese, some meat and hard-boiled eggs. After the second day, we realized that whatever had been set out for breakfast the day before was set out again, perhaps with more cheese/additional fruit, etc. Rooms are very clean as are common areas. Unfortunately, we were placed in a room opposite a couple who had 2 dogs which barked whenever someone walked by the door. One major consideration when staying here is that there is no 24 hour desk and, in fact, there is generally noone at the desk until at least 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. Bills must be paid the night before leaving and any questions or arrangements needed must be handled then as well. There is access to a pool at a neighboring property but the pool did not look inviting since it appeared not to have active filtration. The staff is accommodating and several spoke English quite well. Anyone staying here must absolutely have access to a vehicle since the villa is located north of Malaga in a lovely, private neighborhood. Use of cabs would be cost prohibitive, we feel.

Beautifull outlook, with views of the coastal area & the Mediterranean, nice restauirant & patio to enjoy a drink overlooking the sundrenched town of Malaga. Friendly & competent staff, good rooms, but finding the place was a little difficult- after you get close there are signs to the place but there is a bit of "no mans land"after you leave the roundabout referred to in the directions.
