Supreme Location Hotel is located one block from train terminal station, two blocks from long distance bus terminal, one block from a big shopping mall with plenty of restaurants, and 50 feets from supermarket. I travel a lot of and I cannot remember seeing a hotel more conveniently located than this one. Hotel staffs are friendly and able to speak English. Decoration is ultra modern, and I was very impressed by the design of their bathroom. Will definitely go back again. Traveler's tip on local attractions Train and bus stations nearby serve all major cities in Spain. Good local and chain restaurants are in the mall across the street. Buy snacks and drink from the supermarket 50 feet away.

Silken Puerta January 08 The train station is across the street and is basically a mall with a food court and shops but restaurants are few and far between in the area. Tourists areas are a 15 min. very safe walk away.

Fantastic location for touring - will definitely go back! As frequent travellers to the Costa del Sol we have visited Malaga many times, but never at night. The choice of restaurants and bars is incredible, although they are mainly at the other end of town. This didn't prove a problem though as the bus service is excellent. You can use the excellent transport system to tour the local area (only one-hour from Cordoba now!), especially as the bus and train stations are so close. This also made it extremely easy to get to the airport.

In an excellent location for the railway station (about 150 metres), so if you are travelling to or from the airport this is an ideal hotel. It is also within about 15 minutes walk to the start of the main city centre although there are plenty of buses going past the hotel (and the main bus station is the other side of the railway station). There is not much going on in the area around the hotel. To pick on a previous comment, the hotel name is not clear as the name 'Silken' is not mentioned! The hotel is named "Puerta Malaga", with the name Silken displayed on the flags outside the entrance. The only problem we had was that they couldn't find our Venere reservation!!! I strongly suggest that after booking online you contact the hotel and make sure they have received it. This hotel is excellent value and quality. The beds are enormous and very comfortable. It is definitely a business hotel but still a very good base for the tourist. We would definitely use it again.

This makes it very easy to travel throughout Spain from this location.
