Room Mate Larios

Location, location, location We stayed at the Room Mate Larios for 10 days while we explored Malaga with our daughter who is studying there. The staff was great. The view from our room was outstanding and the location of the hotel is right in the heart of the area. Our room was clean and comfortable. All in all this was a very pleasant experience. Traveler's tip The signage for the entrance to the hotel is not well marked by American standards but everyone on the street knows where it is.

+Its central position and the spacious,stylish and comfortable room and bathroom -The lack of a lounge (considering it's a 4* hotel) and the fact that the bar/dining area was closed to hotel residents when we arrived, as it was being used by a private party!!! Also, a strong and persistent stench of drains throughout our week's stay in the entrance hall.

Super hotel - brillliant location Visit El Pimpi just a short walk away - fantastic drinks and tapas.

Ouir only adverse points were the presence of only one chair in the room, and the absence of non-slip coating to the bath surface. The lower rating for silence arises from being awoken at about 0300 by customers from nearby bars. The view from the terrace is spectacular but the food was less so.

+Location -There is no bar open inside the hotel till after the end of September. The roof terrace open-air bar was cold and wet while we were there. Not much in the way of public rooms in the hotel. Quite difficult to get to by car.

Fabulous Art Deco hotel on Masquez de Larios (their version of Bond Street). Stylish and perfectly located I would recommend the Hotel Larios to anyone wishing to stay in the heart of the City. Marquez de Larios is their version of Bond Street and is ideal for the Station, shopping and sightseeing. Friendly and efficient staff with very good standard of cleanliness. Maids left and apple by our beds every day, nice touch!

The hotel was clean and comfortable and well situated. But we were completely misinformed about the access and parking arrangements. We had a lot of trouble finding the hotel, as it is in a pedestrianised area and we were then given a not very helpful map to find the public car park offered by the hotel.

Great location for a visit to the Picasso Museum The hotel was all one would expect from a 4 star and the staff was very helpful and proficient in English. The hotel entrance is located in a walking mall converted from a historical street. While this is a very convenient location for shoppers, we arrived by car and were almost ticketed for following our GPS into a pedestrian-only area. The hotel needs better instructions for those arriving by car. (Parking is a public garage about 4 blocks away and forget about dropping your luggage before parking.)

Very central I really liked this hotel. It's in the centre of town, clean and well decorated. It's really easy from here to walk to all the main attractions and bars/restaurants. The breakfast was also really nice! The only drawback is that there is no parking however you can park in the main car parks and buy a parking ticket at a reduced rate from the hotel. I'd recommend it.

Rooms are excellent (new and clean), the hotel is located in the best area of Malaga - the restored pedestrian area. Reaching the hotel by car is painful as you can do it only by violating one of the "authorized only" access signs to the pedestrian area (differently from what seems from the website). Most likely you will get no ticket in doing that as you are going to the hotel, once in the hotel they will park the car for you.
