+Good location on the edge of the Old Town, and only a few hundred metres from the Malaga Centro train station, so getting there from the airport is fast and cheap.

The breakfast was particularly good. Whilst we stayed on a room only basis we took the breakfasts at a cost of 10 euros each

+It was a lovely clean hotel with nice decor. -On the whole the staff was very pleasant. However, one member of staff was very rude to me. He was unaware I was a guest in the hotel. I do not speak Spanish and could not understand the menu displayed, and as the waiters did not speak English. I asked at reception if they could recommend somewhere that had an English menu. I was told that when he is in the UK we do not speak Spanish to him, therefore why should the Spanish people speak English to us when we are in Spain. I was most upset. We checked out 3 days early. Also, our room looked onto the fire escape we had no light coming in.

I have to say that this is an excellent hotel. The only problem is that airconditioning/heating is not optional. Its either heat in winter and aircon in summer. The rooms were unconfortable hot, we had to move rooms. We could not keep open the windows because of the terrible street noise. When you have a aircon units in each room which represents both hot and cold - you should have the option of using them both. Apart from that we are going back in Jan 2005 but I will ask for a lower floor as they appear to be cooler. The food and the staff are excellent. Free mini bar (soft drinks only) now thats a nice touch

Malaga Centro is a solid if not particularly charismatic respite after a day or night of energetic fun. Room was small but clean and quiet. I enjoyed the rooftop swimming pool, very sunny, good for a book and a smoke. Neighborhood's not especially interes

This is a fine, modern hotel in an excellent location for department store shopping or for exploring the old center of town. The staff was courteous and professional. The bathroom was the most spacious one I encountered on this trip to Spain.

+Very nice and comfortable room. Very kind and available staff. Free minibar. Close to the city center. -They are missing transportation to the airport. Breakfast should be included with those 4stars high rates.
