We were aware that this was a budget hotel but were pleasantly surprised by the quality. We had a sea view room which was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was basic but adequate. The proximity of the hotel to the city centre, which was for us was an easy half hour walk, enabled us to see most of the city on our two night short vist. There were ample eating places near to the hotel. We would definitely use Asia rooms on any future trips - we found the company very easy to access and and amendment that we had to make at the last minute was handled very efficiently.

Good value for the money. Everything adequate to good. It is near the road and the noise and its not the best beach but what do you expect in central Malaga. Good bars etc around without going right into the centre aswell. Even beach cafes. Bullring just around the corner if you are that way inclined. Not full breakfast but enough for first thing.

No complaints about the 4 rooms; very clean as was the bathroom - but could not give full marks as the dressing tables were not dusted at all during our stay. The safe in one room was faulty and kept the occupant awake during the night. Reported it but nothing was done about it - the receptionist was most unpleasant and unhelpful. We found the male reception staff surly and needing a few lessons in customer relations!

We found the hotel to be good value for money, with sea views and half hour walk to Malaga Centre. Nice restaurants an bars at your door step and even home made cuisine almost opposite the hotel at Roasa,s House ( la casa de Rosa )at a very reasonable prices. We would prefer less choice at breakfast time and may be better quility Cerals and yogourts. But Hey! Cereal it is and English custom.

I was initially uneasy about this hotel, which was not our first choice, what with the tacky name, noting a revue complaining of noise and the '45 minute' walk to Malaga centre. HOWEVER... It was perfectly walkable distance to the old town, the 5th flr room was enormous, looking out over the sea, with balcony. Service a little impersonal, largely our fault for knowing no Spanish (Malaga in February is a Spanish town, full of Spanish people). Breakfast was large and good by hotel standards. NB the hotel has a low-rise extension jutting out very close to the road, which probably explains the poor review I'd seen - get a sea-facing room in the main part and it's perfectly quiet. At the price (£122 for 3 nights) a total bargain. Would definitely return. Minus points: shower a bit feeble, balcony door didn't seem to lock."

The location was great and we were alocated a front facing room with balcony, which we loved. The staff were very helpful and we had no complaints at all.

The reception staff were not very friendly compared to the staff in other hotels where we stayed in the same month (in Granada and Cordoba). The breakfast was varied but of poor quality: dry pastries, soft cereal, only tinned or dried fruit (fresh would be much nicer), "Fanta" instead of fresh juice... For the price we paid for the room, this was very unacceptable. The hotel is close to the beach but I would recommend a hotel in El Palo further away from town. It is not a relaxing beach with all the traffic running along it. Bus 11, though, is frequent and takes you to the city centre or to El Palo. Finally, the walls are paper thin and the noisy guests coming back late at night were a nuisance. And the Internet wasn't free either...
