The Zenit Malaga is away from the town centre slightly but I didn't find this a problem. There's a bus stop across the road with buses running every 10 mins until midnight to the centre ( 1 Euro )and a taxi back after midnight will only set you back around 8 Euros. Walking to town will take you around 20 mins to the main shopping street (C.Larios). Our room was a good size double, clean and serviced every day. Free Wi-Fi in the room and laundry and mini bar were reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and helpful. We'll definately go back to Zenit and if you don't mind being (slightly) out of time it's brilliant.

Although the hotel was good the location was not. It is certainly not within walking distance to Malaga centre. Poor parking. Restaurant closes at 11pm, not even a coffee!

Good hotel in a downtown location- but some a couple of issues The hotel was - in general terms excellent: clean, stylish with helpful staff. The hotel is reasonably well signposted by the local authorities which was a welcome relief after a hard day's touring. There were a couple of negative points we experienced: 1) Being a downtown location, parking was extra at 16E (advertised as 12E; but plus tax). The underground parking arrangement with the garage next in the basement of the building next door worked very well - at least the car was safe as it was manned all night; still: 16E was an unwelcome surprise... 2) The room was noisy - not from the other guests but from the infrastructure: there was a sewer waste pipe running close to the corner of our room ...so every time somebody flushed their toilet upstairs: the lovely sound (fortunately, just the sound!) of contaminated water entered the room. Also some of the airco - not in our room - made strange noises during the night.

Off the beaten path; about a 15-20 minute walk to downtown. Very urban area around the hotel, though appeared safe. Front desk staff very helpful.

Wonderful The hotel is not too far from the city centre. The standards were wonderful and the price was reasonable. The decoration was very pleasant. The staff were very friendly. I will stay there again if I go back to Malaga.
