I loved the scenery and all the beautiful spanish-speaking people. The hotel rooms wer very clean and the workers were friendly. I took my two children with me and they loved playing in the pool! When I go back to visit, I'm staying at this hotel again. It's fantastic!

This hotel is an ideal location for a stay in Malaga city. It is extremely centrally located and within easy access of all the main city centre sites. The hotel itself is perfect. Rooms were as expected - good size. I had requested a balcony and got one. I also had a preference for a quiet room and this was also granted. Our room rate did not include breakfast but we did have breakfast at the hotel on two occasions. It is kind of pricey as it works out at €15 euro each but it was fabulous. If you can get a room rate including breakfast at a good rate then I would go for it. If not you can grab a very reasonable breakfast at the sqaure in front of the cathedral - there is one place there that does orange juice, tea/coffee and a croissant/ham cheese sambo for €2..75 each! The pool on the 15th floor is great. We used it regularly and there are clean towels and endless water supplied. This was great as the beach in town is very busy and we did not really like it. Malaga is a great place to go for a weeks sun, a city break etc. There are great restaurants near the hotel. I would higly recommend Gorki's for fab snacks and tapas. (this olace is just around the corner form the hotel on the way to the shopping area) Shopping is good - all the usual stores. In summary if I plan on heading back to Malaga I would defintiely stay in this hotel and would not even consider another option. It has everything, great location, great service and the swimming pool was a huge plus.

Last weekend I've stayed in this hotel. I can say I'm used to nice hotels, but this one beats them all!! Great hotel, beautiful room, excellent service and personell and from the pool on the 15th (!!) floor a beatiful view over the city and harbour of Malaga. If you're going to Malaga, this is the place to be!!

We found that the AC Palacio to be very centrally located to just about everything! Shopping, restaurants, cultural, historical and arts. This is a gorgeous hotel while in Malaga. The amenities were quite sufficient and we enjoyed it very much. You can walk to just about everything while staying here!

Had a terrible stay at this hotel. Room was not clean when we arrived and got worse throughout the trip as they rarely cleaned - even when we left the sign out to do so - don't think they ever swept the floor the whole week. Garbage was left on the counter for most of the week. We requested twin beds but they were pushed together so it might as well have been 1 bed. There is no concierge and the front desk staff was rude, rude, rude. They gave us mostly wrong answers to our questions (we found out the hard way). They were annoyed with any question, second question very irritable, then turned their back if you had a third question - too bad. Even the bartender was rude. The only nice staff were the men that helped us with our luggage. The pool on the roof was nice as was the view from the roof - but they turned off the elevator to the roof outside of pool hours, so we could not enjoy the morning or sunset view from the roof. Food in the restaurant was OK but very expensive.

We got a reasonable deal through expedia (about £60 a night) which was good value. The hotel is in a great location in the heart of Malaga, with clean and well designed rooms. Nice roof top pool with great views. Service from reception staff a bit hit and miss. One lady was extremely helpful, another was plain rude. But this is not a hotel to hang around in as Malaga is such a pleasant place to spend a few days and nights. Do go to the Picasso museum and go to the beach for some fish and sangria! Would happilly return to Malaga and this hotel.

What a nasty room - small, worn, not terribly clean, and no AC after October. Web page claims robes in room and self parking - no robes and no self parking. Parking was 18 Euros per day. Wouldn't go back even if employer paid for room.

Incredible place. Good location near nightlife and cultural sites, generously sized rooms, mini bar, big bath, reasonably priced laundry service, balcony if available, views of harbor and leafy boulevard. Taxis waiting at front door. Walking distance to good food, but hotel's breakfast served late had all Spanish or English/American food items, including Spanish meats, eggs cooked to order, coffee, juice and pastries. Rooftop pool with high views of Malaga finished off the experience -- you could look down at the Cathedral in your swim trunks and see most of the city at that height. Staff friendly and willing to accommodate all requests we found. I'd stay there again.

Stayed here on business for two nights and was presently surprised by the hotel. There was renovation in progress which meant that the bar was not available, but drinks were served in an area of the restaurant. The room was of a good size with a comfortable bed and an excellent bathroom with a powerful shower. As my stay was during the Winter season the air conditioning was not operating and as a result the room was hotter than I would have wished. Opening the door to the balcony allowed some cooler air to enter the room, but also allowed the traffic noise in - this could be a problem for a light sleeper. The breakfast buffet (16 Euros) was excellent with plenty of choice including freshly squeezed orange juice, cereals, fruit, and a range of hot and cold foods. The hotel is within walking distance of restaurants and bars in the old quarter of the city and we had some excellent meals at very reasonable prices. There is a taxi rank right outside the hotel for longer journeys. The staff were welcoming and friendly and humoured our pitiful efforts to order our drinks in Spanish. Wireless Internet connection is available at a cost of 12 Euro for 24 hours which I felt was somewhat on the high side. In contrast the in-room mini bar (stocked with water, beer and soft drinks) was completely free.

We spent two nights at this hotel and would definately return. It was in a perfect location - close to everything. Very modern and good sized room. Beautiful view. The service was good too. It is worth it too to get the breakfast included when you book. Website photos are accurate.
