Aparthotel Club Garbi

Stayed here in June 2007 during a weeklong trip to Ibiza for clubbing. Most of the other guests were families, and German. You can't beat this place for the price, it's a great value. Our room had a view of the sea/beach from our balcony which was a great feature. The hotel is mainly quiet and the rooms are decent...they clean the rooms daily and the rooms themselves are standardly equipped. It's a great hotel to use as a home-base for seeing Ibiza, but definitely NOT a luxury place. The staff at the desk was friendly. The pool was great as well. The only negative was the breakfast - it was horrible. Most of it was un-edible. I would absolutely stay here again, given the price.

I can only give the Hotel Garbi a rating of one because everything about the hotel was terrible except the wait staff. The management was rude, constantly yelling at guests, and very unhelpful. The bartenders however, were more than helpful with directions, advice on places to eat, and just being friendly. If you don't mind maids walking into your room without knocking, security guards yelling at you, a freezing cold spa, and inedible food, this is your place.

I have just returned from a one week holiday in Ibiza. My husband and I stayed at Club Garbi and to say it was excellent would be an understatement. We were treated in a polite and friendly manner by every member of staff that we came into contact with. Our apartment was spotlessly clean and on reflection I cant find fault with any aspect of our holiday and we will definitely be returning. The meals were excellent and catered to every taste. We were totally amazed by the different foods available and everything we eat was cooked and prepared to perfection. My boyfriend and I have just returned home from two fab weeks at the Garbi. We we greeted by very helpful staff and of course Martin the most pleasant barman we have ever had the good fortune to meet. The rooms were very clean with maid service everyday this included fresh towels and toilet rolls! Air conditioning was a godsend! The pool and pool area was kept very clean and the beach was your back garden. There was a good selection of food to suit everyone, the food was well prepared and the resturant was kept clean and tidy. The entertainment team of Ann,Joey and Ruben done a wonderful job in keeping everyone entertained. Ann's gym class at 11 o'clock is definately recommended it makes you feel less quilty about eating and drinking so much!!! Also the comedy show they put on is worth watching. Overall I would reccomend the Garbi to anybody going to playa den Bossa.

This hotel provides a simple base for relaxing in the day around the pool and enjoying the great amount of bars and clubs on the doorstep. The hotel was clean and surprisingly quiet with not many English people stopping there. I had booked bed and breakfast but would have preferred room only. I didnt enjoy the food provided and felt there was much room for improvement in this area. The rooms are large with a good sized balcony and bathroom. The small kitchen area was suitable for my needs. The biggest disappointment was the beach. The photos show a beautiful beach close to the hotel which would have been great if only the beach wasnt covered in huge piles of very unpleasant smelling seaweed. This is not a fault of the hotel but it did spoil my holiday. I would go back to this hotel if I found cheap enough rates.

Clean, ideal hotel in Playa D'en Bossa. Really good value for money. Food buffet style - perfectly adequate for meat eaters and vegetarians. Great central location without being in San An. Staff polite. Nice beach and pool area with chatty bar staff willing to keep bringing you drinks all day! Great for young groups of people as well as families.

6 of us have just returned from 4 days at the Club Garbi in Playa de'n Bossa in Ibiza. This was an excellent choice of Hotel for us, the rooms were fab, 2 singles beds (easily pushed together ;-), had 2 wardrobes (built in), TV, Kitchenette, good sized balcony and good sized bathroom!! Very friendly and accommodating staff most of the time, some were a wee bit impatient, this did not phase us. Air con when getting ready to out is an absolute god send. There is a wee man who walks around telling you to tone down the music if it's too loud after 1am, although this did not happen to us and we partied long and hard. The attempt at an English breakfast was rubbish, there wasn't even a toast machine. But continental suited most of us fine. The dinner buffet was medium but lovely and fresh. What more could you ask for. All in all, excellent value for money, so much so, we're booked to go back on the 20th Sept. Thanks for a great holiday.

We booked our hotel via Triton Rooms in January and planned our whole trip for June well in advance as it was my best friend's stag do. On the Wednesday prior to us going, I received a phone call saying that our booking was cancelled as the hotel was full. I won't go inot all the boring details, but the agent actually advised me that the hotel had overbooked, it happened all the time, and that they were "being greedy." I can only assume that they cancelled us as we were going for 3 says, and they had received a booking for a week. ABSOLUTLEY UNACCEPTABLE! DON'T BOOK HERE AS YOU MAY NOT EVEN GET IN!

I have to say this is the most unorganised hotel i have ever stayed in my life, the night i had arrived i did not receve my room for two hours and was told i had not even booked a room although i had already payed by credit card, i did not even receve an appoligy. The lift did not work through the whole of the holiday so luggage had to be carred up and down three flights of stairs and they did not clean our room for two days. The staff through out the whole of the hotel where very unhelpfull when asked the most simple question like "could you please call me a taxi" the man just pointed out the front door and said "that way". I would not recomend anyone who wishes to be spoken to as a human being to stay in this hotel.
