First off, this is not the hotel we booked but we were shuttled over here when Grupo Playa Sol overbooked the hotel where we had reserved a room. The good: Big rooms, nice balcony, good views right on the ocean. Decent kitchenette. The bad: Expect a lot of noise 24/7 from the neighbors and the guests. Don't expect anything from the staff. I know it's Ibiza and we expected a lot noise, but it was pretty impossible to sleep at any time when we were there.

Right - this hotel is pretty good, its cheap and clean and safe. we were on thr ground floor and had no worries. you might get transferred to playa sol 1 on your arrival which is better, coz it has a bigger pool and you get the sun for longer, at playa sol2 it hardly ever gets any sun coz of the way the hotel is built - so a bit rubbish. Es vive area is dead qiuet, only noise comes from all the italians in the hotel, no brits at all which cold be an advatage depending on what you like. the local beach is truly crappola so dont bother. its a proper hike to playa den bossa 15/20 min walk and a taxi drive to ibiza town so the location is rubbish if your lazy like me. thats the worst thing about it - not being on the doorstep to a good beach/good bars/good clubs. not really the vibe we were looking for. space and bora bora are about a 20 min walk at least -which is annoying, Hotel Es Vive is about 30 yards down the road which is good for their hotel after parties in a soundproof club, holds about 200 peeps and goes on till stupi'o'clock, check it out, you have to say a password on the door but just say somethin vaguely spanish and youll get in. good for celeb spotting, we met Patrick kielty who was off his face! anyway crazy times had nonetheless - got battered evry night and had a good time just wished we'd gone San An or closer to ibiza town. wouldnt go agin coz its boring and ages fom everything. adios!

We stayed at Apartmentos Playa Sol II and had a great time, though we were out partying until 06:00 most nights during out 2 week stay. Made many friends, English, German, Dutch and French whilst there. Really had a great time. Accommodation was suitable for our needs - somewhere to put our heads down for a few hours before we were back up and in the pool, then off walking into Ibiza Town and then jumping on a bus to explore, later hiring a car to explore the island - nominating an alcohol free driver each day.

I mistakenly thought that this was a family resort and hotel.Unfortunately i was very much mistaken. My daughter visited us from their apartment in San Antonio and couldnt believe how noisy it was and she was 18 and had gone to ibiza for the club scene. The noise was 24/7 and unbearable ,there was no respite from club music and people screaming, shouting to each other either getting ready to go out or on their way home. The noise starts at about 10 pm and last till 2/3am if your lucky then resumes at about 5am untill 8/9am when they return from clubs. Then they hit the pool and carry on with the pool bar playing a constant 100 decibel noise untill sun down at roughly 8pm and then they all start thier own ghetto blasters in rooms. So if you can survive on no sleep 24/7 then this is the hotel for you.

Was very worried about staying here after reading some of the reviews, however, there was nothing to worry about. My partner and I (29 and 35 years) arrived at 2.30am and were greeted with a smile. We requested an apartment above 1st floor level which we got (lifts available). The apartment was very clean and spacious. I was surprised to find we had a separate bedroom with twin beds and large wardrobe space (take your own hangers!) There was a dining area with a table and four chairs and a sofa (which I think is a bed for a 3rd and 4th person) and a TV. There was a small kitchenette (two hobs - no microwave or toaster) with fridge and ample crockery. We did not use this as it's cheap to eat out, however it looked sufficient if you wanted to eat in some nights. The balcony was large and had a table and four chairs (just remember to close the door if you want your air con to kick in). The cleaners came everyday and did a good job. The pool was fairly small but in honesty we did not use it - preferring the beach which is a 2 min walk away. The apartments can get fairly noisy but the rather dishy "bouncer" who came on duty at about midnight was excellent. Without ruining anyone's good time he did a good job at making sure music from personal stereos (at night and in the early hours) was at an acceptable level. Location - The apartments are close to several shops and a couple of restaurants and a 10 min beach front walk to the main area of Playa den Bossa and about 15 mins walk to Space. Ibiza town was a very pleasant 20 mins walk in the opposite direction (beach front with some lovely restaurants). We took a cab from the centre of Playa den Bossa to San Antonio which took about 20mins and cost 25 euros. The airport is about 5-10mins in a cab and cost us about 12 euros. Overall these apartments were very good value for money and I would recommend these to couples or groups who are looking for spacious, clean accommodation close to the airport, Space and Ibiza Town. I would stay here again.

Stayed at the Playa Sol 1 Figuretas Ibiza, in June, and although we must have been the oldest couple in this hotel we found No problem with noise. Ok - the younger generation were getting ready to go out at around 3 am, just as we were coming home, and then returning around 7.30 am but although we did hear them, they created no problems. As for continuous noise - are people not allowed to enjoy themselves when they are on holiday. My partner and I are in our 50's and found the younger generation in the hotel, polite, well mannered, well behaved people who had gone to Ibiza to enjoy themselves. The staff were excellent, very helpfull and polite. All in all this is a very well equipped hotel if you only want basic, reasonable priced accomodation.
